Opinion of the Court
MILLS, Judge.

MILLS, Judge.

Rumlin appeals from the dismissal of her amended complaint which alleges negligence on the part of the Gadsden County Sheriffs Department.

We affirm because the amended complaint does not allege a breach of a legally cognizable duty. Everton v. Willard, 468 So. 2d 936 (Fla.1985); Trianon Park Condominium Association, Inc. v. City of Hialeah, 468 So. 2d 912 (Fla.1985).
