Before the Court is Defendant Commissioner's motion to remand this action pursuant to sentence four of 42 U.S.C. § 405(g). (Doc. 42). The Commissioner seeks a remand in order for “the Commissioner, through the Appeals Council, [to] refer [the] Plaintiff's case to an Administrative Law Judge” (ALJ), who shall, in turn, "offer [the] Plaintiff an opportunity for a new hearing, take any further action necessary to complete the administrative record, and issue a new decision."
